The Wolon 16-Port Fiber Optic Distribution Box (FDB) is an essential passive enclosure designed for the secure termination, splitting, and distribution of optical fibers in FTTH (Fiber to the Home) networks. Acting as the vital link between the main distribution cable and subscriber drop cables, this versatile Optical Termination Box (OTB) provides a highly organized and protected environment for bare fiber splicing and patch cord routing.

Engineered with a robust, UV-resistant ABS+PC polymer housing and sealed with industrial-grade rubber gaskets, this box achieves an IP65 waterproof and dustproof rating, making it highly reliable for harsh outdoor wall-mounted or pole-mounted applications. Manufactured directly in our Wuhan facility-powered by 400 to 500 skilled professionals across three factories-this enclosure is optimized to house a 1x16 PLC Splitter (or two 1x8 splitters) seamlessly. It ensures bottleneck-free signal distribution while significantly reducing field installation time for network operators.

IP65 Weatherproof Rating: The ruggedized, tightly sealed black enclosure protects sensitive internal splicing components from rain, dust, UV radiation, and extreme temperature fluctuations.

High-Density Capacity: Features a spacious internal layout with dedicated slots to load up to 16 SC simplex adapters (or LC duplex) and accommodates up to 16 outgoing FTTH drop cables.

Integrated Splice & Splitter Trays: The multi-layer internal design separates fiber routing, splicing, and splitting, featuring a clear protective cover over the splice tray to prevent accidental damage during maintenance.

Secure Access Control: Equipped with a dedicated mechanical key lock to prevent unauthorized tampering and theft in public deployment areas.

Versatile Cable Entry: Includes multiple waterproof cable entry and exit ports with customizable rubber grommets, supporting uncut cable (mid-span access) and standard feeder cables.

Flexible Installation: Standardized backplate design allows for fast, stable mounting on both exterior building walls and utility poles.

FTTH Access Networks: Serving as the final distribution point (FAT) before the optical signal reaches the subscriber's home.
