The Connectorized Insert PLC Splitter (also known as a Cassette or Plug-in Module Splitter) is a high-density optical power distribution device designed for modern FTTx and 5G network architectures. Unlike bare fiber splitters, this module comes fully enclosed in a durable ABS plastic cassette with pre-terminated adapters (SC or LC) on the front panel.

This "Insert" design allows for rapid installation into Optical Distribution Frames (ODF), Fiber Distribution Hubs (FDH), and outdoor cross-connect cabinets without the need for fusion splicing. Installers simply plug the module into the rack slot, significantly reducing deployment time and labor costs. Available in split ratios from 1x2 to 1x64, it utilizes Planar Lightwave Circuit (PLC) technology to deliver precise optical performance with low insertion loss and high uniformity across the 1260nm-1650nm spectrum.
