The ADSS optical cable adopts a loose tube stranded structure. The optical fiber is sheathed in a loose tube made of high modulus polyester material, and the tube is filled with waterproof compound. The loose tube (and the filling rope) is twisted around the non-metallic central reinforcement core (FRP) to form a compact cable core, and the gaps in the cable core are filled with water-blocking grease. The cable core is extruded with a polyethylene (PE) inner sheath, and then two layers of aramid yarns are twisted bidirectionally for reinforcement, and finally a polyethylene (PE) jacket or an electrical corrosion resistant (AT) jacket is extruded.
